Lots of compliments!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has this shirt in all the colors available that he prefers. Every time he wears one, he gets at least one compliment. We are hoping more colors will be offered in the near future. He needs to keep his arms protected from the sun's rays which this shirt does, he loves the lightweight fabric, and I like the way it comes out of the dryer with little or no pressing needed! Note that the sleeves are a little long and the size itself is generous. Columbia - please keep this shirt in your catalog and come out with some more colors!

my favorite Columbia shirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hope Columbia continues to make the Low Drag long sleeve shirt. I have a number of long sleeve shirts from Columbia in different styles (silver ridge, blood and guts, pfg bahama, cascades explorer), but the Low Drag line is by far my favorite. I don't like a lot of shirt pockets and the Low Drag shirts have just normal pocket space with nicely designed velcro pocket closures that look good and work well. I prefer long sleeve shirts for the UV protection and the fast-drying/sweat-wicking nature of the Low Drag fabric is lightweight and cool but not clingy. This shirt doesn't just function well in the field, but it looks nice too. I wear them for just about any occasion, from long days of offshore field work in the sun or out to dinner. They are my "best" shirts so if I have somewhere to go where I need to look respectable they are sure to get thrown on. Either way, I get a lot of mileage out of them.

My new uniform

I am a photography guide who travels and I love these PFG shirts. They are good for the mountains where I live, but where invaluable on my recent trip to Hawaii. Hawaii's humidity wiped out this mountain boy, I had to change three t-shirts my first day there. Then I started wearing my slew of OFFSHORE's and TAMIAMIs. They wicked away the sweat instead of collecting it and left me feeling stupid for packing t-shirts at all. I think the Offshores are an improvement over the TAMIAMIs I have been purchasing as I like the collar better as I don't use the buttons and the Offshore collar lays down better. For those who like buttons, they are there but hidden underneath the collar. I would like to see the support "back inside" of the collar become the color of the shirt though as it shows when collar is laid down flat. These PFG shirts hardly wrinkle when packed into a suitcase which makes them an easy travel choice over cotton shirts. They are easy to hand wash in a sink when on the road in a humid climate as they dry easily.
