In large rooms, position the rug under the bed and bedside tables

Which size you choose depends not only on the size and shape of the table, but also on the chairs surrounding it

The rug should be at least 27 inches wider than the dining table and also 27 inches longer if you have chairs at the head

If the table is extendible, then you should calculate the length when it is fully extended
