Bought this for a recent camping trip to the Oregon coast Made making coffee in the morning fun, watching it perk, enjoying good coffee with friends. Very nice.

This coffee pot is well made with stainless steel and nice wooden handles. Percolator coffee pots are a bit tricky to use so if you have never used one read up on the process on line. My only disappointment was that the product description says no aluminum and no plastic which is basically true but it came with disposable filters that used plastic in their construction. One of the reasons I bought this is because I am trying to eliminate as much plastic contacting my food as possible due the the adverse health effects of micro plastics getting into our food. If your goal is to eliminate plastic then throw away the Colletti filters and either use the basket with no filter and deal with small amounts of grounds in the coffee or buy some paper filters. The size if perfect for about two large mugs but if you want more then Colletti makes a larger pot. I really like the durability for camping as compared to a glass French press.
