Although there could have been a couple things that Coleman did differently with this tent, I still absolutely love it. I had the 4 person version prior. We needed to upgrade because we got another large dog. The size difference is significant. With the “porch”, I was able to leave the door open without worrying about a major influx of bugs and get a good deal of air circulation. Plus that's where our new pup ended up.

It's a six person tent but we fit two queen air mattresses in it and still had plenty of room for our stuff, dogs, etc. the screened “porch” area is great for keeping dirt out of the tent. Also it holds up pretty great in the rain
