Coleman 390 Lumen Twin LED 8D Battery Lantern

This Coleman lantern gives a good amount of light without giving off heat. My other Coleman lantern works with white gas and gives off a huge amount of light and heat (great for cold nights in my tent trailer but not for warm summer nights). This is a great addition for camping.

Have not had the item long enough to give an honest review, but I will update later if any problems come up. The light is very bright and I like the adjustment that lets you dim the light if needed. Takes 8 size D batteries, which could get expensive, but I purchased this for power outages, so that should not be a problem for me. IF I was going to use this on a regular basis, I would strongly consider rechargable batteries and a charger. Overall this would save money. Item is well made with good strong material. Has a nice handle to hang it up if necessary. Overall a good sturdy product with no glaring weakness that I can see. How it will hold up is the question. Time will tell, but every Coleman product I have owned has been excellent.
