Favorite shoe!

This shoe has been my favorite for 30 years. I have owned multiple pairs in both black and burgundy. I was so disappointed when they were not longer available and thrilled when they showed back up on the website. I immediately purchased the black and will be buying the burgundy as well.

carefully packaged for shipping. Arrived w/o a scuff. Tassels were wrapped in protective paper. Love the Dark Burgundy! So dark, almost black...fit for deeply dark Academia tunes and dispositions. Well crafted, means a bit stiff and very slick sole; requiring some break-in time for the tender bare footed inserts. Not use to wearing such high shine irony.

soles wear fast

I have been wearing this dress shoe for 35 years now. I do have a bit of a problem with how fast the soles wear out, for this price of a shoeI would hope they could last longer. I have 6 pair in my closet that I keep wanting to get resole'd, but just never get around to it. The uppers last forever.
