Coghlan's Nylon Paracord, 50' Commercial 550 Cord, Survival Emergency - Black

It feels strong and well made, and for everyday outdoor or utility use it does exactly what you expect. The cord has great tensile strength and doesn't feel flimsy at all, so I feel confident using it for tying down gear, setting up tarps, or general camping tasks. The outer sheath holds up well against abrasion from rough surfaces and hasn't shown any serious fraying so far. Knots are easy to tie, they cinch down smoothly, and they hold securely without slipping, even after being under tension. Like most paracord, it can tangle if you just throw it into a bag, but if you coil it properly, it stays neat and easy to use. The bright orange color is a big plus — it's easy to spot and adds visibility outdoors. With UV exposure, the color may fade over time, but performance stays solid for normal use. The weight capacity on it is around 100 pounds so it's great for strapping downloads of all kinds. The bright orange color helps the stand out regardless of what environment I may be in. I honestly put more weight on it that was rated for to test it out and it even held up to that. It had just the right amount of flexibility and durability to make it trustworthy to keep in the truck all the time. Overall, exactly what I expected.
