Sold me a used unit, can't be activated.

Was sent a used unit. The serial number can't be re-used. Tech support will not be able to reset the unit to another customer. So now I have to uninstall the unit from the car, box it up send it back, wait for a refund. Then take everything apart again ... this is supposed to be brand new items not used.
