Easy to use, and saves time and money

I'm handy around the house but definitely a DIY YouTuber who watches other nice people who post videos to find out how to fix things. This drain snake/auger was sooooo easy to use and saves time and money. More-so, we didn't want anyone coming in the house during the pandemic so it avoided that too! Overall, I was worried about where or not I should get a 25' or 15'—and 3/8” or 1/4” — and found out that all didn't matter in my case. This thing went in ~13-18 feet before it hit the hair clog — and pulled it out like a champ! I would def. recommend this 25 footer! Easy to use, well designed, good price!

used all 25 feet

We had a clogged tenants drain who had just moved out and who knows how long clogged. Tried all 25 feet from drain but not enough line. Tried from roof vent twice with great patience for me and broke through saving mucho dollars for the plumber.

One of the best $25 I've spent.

One of the best $25 I've spent. Didn't think I could pull off a plumbing repair job by myself. Please read these directions, another reviewer's on Walmart.com's directions, or watch several videos of how to use these on YouTube and you'll likely find you'll save yourself a bundle of cash as well. So my kitchen sink clogged up and I called the local plumbing and the starting price to unclog the sink was $125! I tried and failed to clear the clog with 2 $5 bottles full of Crystal Lye (not all at once but 2 table spoons at a time). I hated to even try it but I didn't have much confidence in my plumbing ability. Well the Crystal Lye didn't work because the clog was not organic matter. So I finally bought this plumbing auger. Here is what I did following the directions another user posted on the Walmart.com site in his review of this plumbing snake (auger): 1) Put on rubber gloves and used a big deep plastic food storage container unter the kitchen sick to catch the water after I removed the U-drain carefully to avoid splashing water as I was afraid of getting the lye drain opener solution on me. 2) About 8 inches at a time I unfastened the auger cam latch (silver latch that locks the plumbing snake in place) I pull out the 8 inches of plumbing snake and lock back the cam. 3) I put the 8 inches of plumbing snake in the clogged drain and turn the crank on the barrel of the plumbing auger drawing the snake in a coil into the kitchen drain pipe. 4) Any resistance from the clog? No. Unlatch the cam, pull out another 8 inches of plumbing snake, and repeat the cranking of the plumbing auger handle to coil the plumbing snake pulling it further into the clogging drain. 5) Eventually by repeating step 4), over
