Very rugged Walkie Talkies, with a 40foot throw!
What I liked: 1. These walkie talkies are ruggedly built. They can get wet (IPX4), be dropped, and for my family, have been consistently delivering for months! I would say they are a great option for a family that likes to go off the beaten track,. where regular cell reception can get very iffy. 2. They are very simple. I recently taught my neice (3) and slightly older nephew (6) hw to use them. I had no issues doing so. 3. The signals I receive are crystal clear. Even at a throw of a few miles. They CAN work across town, as states, up to 40 miles. I tested them to about 30 miles, and they worked much better than I had hoped. 4. Dense, but not bulky. Fits right in my cargo pants pocket, and feels comfortable. In summary, the walkie talkies we all WISHED we had as kids, and FULL of utility even now for adults that like to travel off of the beaten track.

Only needed 3 but since they come in a 2 or 6 pack, I bought 2 - 2 packs. (I did find a use for the 4th after all, but that is not the point). I set these to a channel easily and all 4 work better than expected. After FULLY charging them PRIOR to use as instructed, I have been using them for 4 days as of now, and STILL have NO blinking red 'needs charging' light. These are used moderately
