Cobra Drum Auger Drain Snakes w/ 1/4" x 15' Cable With Open Hook.

I had a clog that was about 13 feet down the drain. This product took care of the problem in just a few minutes -- three times in and out of the pipe and now the water drains like when I bought the house. I don't know what the clog was, but it looked like a big wad of dryer lint. Odd, for a kitchen sink. Two points I would like to make: First, it's not intended to go down the drain opening in the sink/bathtub, it's a little large for that. You're supposed to disconnect the pipe from the sink and send it through there. If you put it through the drain opening, it could get stuck and you will have a bigger problem. Or you might get lucky. You'll have to decide for yourself if it's worth the risk. Secondly, one user complained that the plastic piece broke off. The thumbscrew that tightens the coiled wire (snake) only fits one way; if you tighten the thumbscrew against the plastic, it will not work right and may break. Tighten the thumbscrew against the metal coil and it should work as designed. If you're not sure, go to YouTube, there's plenty of videos on how to use one of these. Yes, it's an entry-level tool, but if you only use it once every several years, there's no need to spend bigger bucks. It's well worth the money to me.
