Great for small paeticle tea too, very fine "mesh"

I was skeptical of this being a sheet of metal with small punched holes in it, I was worried it wouldn't be as fine as the mesh strainers, to capture the tiny particles of tea, but it really is! the holes are super tiny; it's absolutely perfect! And when you turn it upside down to rinse the tea particles out of it, they don't get stuck in the rim of the strainer like with the mesh ones!

This converted me to tea baskets

Excellent, fits right into my cup and works well. I used to use a tea ball that would leave lots of leaves in the cup. This strains much better. It also came with a stainless steel steeping lid that just covers the basket.
