we have a 5 year old grandson who lives with us and he bath's in the first floor bathroom so I had to switch to clear shower curtains these "Clorox heavy duty curtain liners" and the best!! tried cheaper ones but you get what you pay for.. they are strong and stay in place. we have hard water so I did have to change mine out a few times but we invested in a whole house "BRITA" water softener system and changed my shower head and bathroom faucets I'm positive this will make the shower curtain last longer than 4 months. p.s. I also researched and found that you should spray your shower with "Lysol spray" to help control mold and mildew. first I will call the "Clorox company" to see if they recommend it or not. 1-888-893-5765 is the companies number if interested.
