Fantastic dog food! This *WILL* put a shine in your dog's coat. This is nothing short of magical dog food. This brought back to life a dog my mom found that when she got it to the house I was going to put it down as it was *LITERALLY*, skin hangiong off bones! It's eyes were so sunken I could hardly see them. It could barely hold itself up. Something in me though decided to try and help it and I started it on a slow, gentle regimen of eating Pedigree (which is all I feed my dogs). Within 6 months one would never have recognized this dog as the one my mom found! His coat grew out and changed back to the dark reddish-brown it should have been and was soft. His bones no longer were sticking out and you could hardly feel any of them. His eyes came back to life and got back to normal in their sockets, just generally a new dog. We did find out though that he was pretty old, we figured probably around 8-10 years. He still moved a little slow and hardly ever ran, but that was probably because the starvation had done damage *nothing* could fix. He used to *LOVE* to sleep near the wood stove we used to heat the house in the winter time. The dog was just an all around great dog for almost two years. He looked and acted like he'd never been hungry (except for the arthritis). Unfortunately he went deaf very quickly near the end of those two years and then his mind went and he got to where he would wander off and didn't recognize anyone when we'd walk over to fetch him back. Not even the finest food, Pedigree, for dogs on the planet could help him with this and one day I woke and he'd died quietly in his sleep lying at his favorite spot near the warmth of the wood stove. This dog food is also *Made in America*. It's *never* had a recall *ever*, like so many other brand-name dog foods have over the years. In my opinion, one cannot feed a better food to their pet than this, and I've had dogs since I was a baby and training dogs since I was 14 (now 58). I think in those 58 years I've been without a dog maybe 6 years total (military service, etc).

The 3 poodles who are ages 8, 9, and 10 just love this dog food, be it grilled steak or roasted chicken. They cannot get enough of it!
