Tip on how to get your compressor running...

As you may or may not already know your AC compressor must be running in order for the refrigerant to be accepted in the system. If it's not running like mine wasn't you simply remove the relay in the fuse box usually located under the hood near the battery. Just find the compressor on the diagram and pull it. You then need to find some wire, any type of wire will do even speaker wire. You then strip each end of the wire and jam it down in the relay slot, top right to bottom left or vice versa try different configurations until you see the compressor kick on. Once you get the compressor running make sure the AC is on the coldest setting and the fan is on high then add the refrigerant. Once the system has refrigerant the compressor will run on it's own again so you can put the relay back now. This worked on my wife's car and the AC is super cold and everything held. You can look on a label under your hood to see how much refrigerant your vehicle will need. My wife's car needed 2.1 lbs so I bought two 12 oz AC Pro with max seal cans and one of these 14 oz standard AC Pro's. I already had the gauge to add the refrigerant. It's been a couple weeks and it's still blowing ice cold. Much cheaper than taking it to the shop!
