Nice till they stop working

I have a couple of these but they both stopped connecting with my iPhone and iPad after a couple months. Defeats the purpose of buying one to save photos from the iPhone when without warning they can no longer be viewed on the iPhone or iPad. I’m embarrassed to say I recommended them to friends and even helped them download pictures from their camera and now they could be in the same situation as me.
