I use this product about every 1 1/2 months. I don't like permanent color because if the roots growing out and can't color as often. This color washes out gradually making the roots not as noticeable. I had chemo and lost my hair a few years ago and when it grew back my stylist recommended this product because it's so gentle on the hair.
