The eco-drive line of watches does not require replacement batteries. This is a cute watch that is well suited for a smaller wrist due to the smaller case size and it's just a personal preference as to whether a person prefers a larger or smaller case diameter. Great light weight watch for the Spring and Summer.

I can only review the value for the price and my thoughts on the reliability of another Citizen watch that I have worn for over 8 years, due to the fact that I've only had this new watch for about a week. Walmart offers a high quality watch for an unbelievable price point. I know that a Citizen Eco-Drive watch is very reliable and never requires a battery. I feel certain that the Citizen watch I purchased from Walmart will be as reliable as the one I have had and worn for year.
