Remove clumps and solid waste daily to keep the rest of the litter fresh. Add more cat litter to replace what you have scooped out and maintain a depth of 3-4 inches. I will never buy any other cat litter. I have 2 cats and the smell from other litters starts after the first use. This one, although a little more pricey, is worth it. The clumps scoop up easily and the smell stays away for an entire week. I live in a small space and need a litter that lasts.
