Other than the instructions being a tad blurry on some of the blueprints... it is such an awesome bed! Money well spent! My child LOVES his new bed! I have a very tall almost 6 year and was worried about the slide being too short. However, the slide is long enough for him to catch some speed when sliding. Great quality and such a fun treat for indoor play on a rainy day. His children's couch fits comfortably underneath! I definitely recommend.

Pros vastly outweigh the cons

While it's not the highest quality wood, its still solid wood which is a significant step up from particle board. I assembled all of my dowels with wood glue, so construction is very solid and besides that, the bed is utterly massive. It can fit both my daughter and I (6'2", 170lbs) comfortably, without creaking, wobbling or fear of collapsing. I purchased this at a discount, so it was an incredible bargain. That said, instructions aren't always the most clear, my set was missing a few (non-critical) pieces of hardware, and on many pieces of wood the pilot holes are not deep enough or just flat out missing, so expect to jury-rig the assembly a bit. Despite the downsides, it's an impeccable value and for a first big-girl bed, my daughter is very satisfied.
