Difficult to remove

We have a very textured stone fireplace and the Paint and Peel was very hard to get back off. I had watched utube videos on how it works and ours was nothing like that. Ended up using a needle now pliers and knife to pick pieces of the product off. After 3 days of working on it, the fireplace does look great. Cleaned up all the soot. I would never use this product again though.
