Chile De Arbol 4 oz - Red Chili Peppers, Premium and Natural - Great For Mexican, Chinese and Thai Dishes

I do a lot of my own home canning, dehydrating, preserving, and gardening. But sometimes my garden doesn't produce the kind of peppers I need for cooking and baking, so I ordered these chili peppers to add to my pantry. I've only used it a couple times since I purchased it and was surprised at the heat, it put off from one pepper. It is definitely small but mighty. I added three tiny peppers to a 20 quart stock pot V-8 juice. I marked the jars as mild spicy. I may have just made my own version of chili or hot sauce. Even if I can't drink it as V-8 juice, I can use it to make a pot of chili. I also plan to use it in a fried rice recipe that I found on YouTube. It will add great flavor and a lot of bright red to the fried rice. They suggest removing the seeds first before chopping the peppers up for the recipe. My advice is to add peppers sparingly at first until you can test the heat. Great product.
