I bought this for both the carbon filter and the magnetic head. I had heard from trusted specialists that magnetic water is healing. Tested the water with several different tests. It dropped the TDS only about 10 points but it dropped the ORP about 100 points! You don't really want oxygen rich (oxidation) water on your skin but hydrogen rich (h2). The pH of my water was brought to 7.0 neutral.
