This is a perfect size for me and my husband. It cooks one and half raw rice. I only used it twice only so far. It cooked perfectly without any spill. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for durability is the out surface of the rice container was discolored after it was washed in dish washer before it was used the first time. The discolor stays after I have used and washed it in the dish washer twice. However, it does not seem to affect cooking at all.

It was smaller than I expected, but it turned out to be for the best. Excellent for college students making a single portion of rice, though also great for two portions if you have a friend over. I've used this product almost every day for two weeks, it always makes perfect rice and doesn't stick to the bottom. The water doesn't boil over, so no mess. I like that it came with a cup to measure/scoop uncooked grains and spoon to move around/scoop the cooked rice.
