Yummy

While they don't get quite as crispy as they were when they came with the sleeve, still slightly crispy. The taste is good, with a hint of hickory, but its not overpowering. I really enjoy them and it's a good value for you money for a quick snack or meal (if you have 2).

I mean, where did hot pockets go wrong outside of getting rid of the shell thing that you put the hot pocket in to make it crispy they're doing pretty great I mean, they could always make the ham a little thinner but outside of all thes i mean, where did hot pockets go wrong outside of getting rid of the shell thing that you put the hot pocket in to make it crispy they're doing pretty great I mean, they could always make the ham a little thinner but outside of that they're pretty delicious except one side gets really hard and the other side is perfect. That's really irritating but outside of that they're really good.

Change is not always good.

They’ve ruined them. I used to keep these in my freezer for a “decent” breakfast (something that isn’t just a granola bar type thing). However, this last box was terrible for 2 reasons. I tried to keep an open mind but I’ve tried to eat 3 of these now and I couldn’t finished any of them. Going to be donating them to someone who wants to try them to avoid completely wasting my money on them/throwing them away. Reasons: A: They no longer come with a crisping sleeve. I thought I got an unlucky box but I found that it did mention this on the box. Good for the environment? Yes. Good for the hot pockets? Absolutely not. They’re softer and chewier with very very very little crunch the ham doesn’t look, taste or feel like it’s fully cooked anymore. Like, if a gas station tried to make and sell an off brand version of them. Yes, I’ve tried adjusting the cook time and what not. **For reference, I’m using a microwave, not a toaster oven or an air fryer, with a damp paper towel draped over the hot pocket, like I do with anything else I microwave.** B: “Now with more cheese!” is absolutely infuriating to me. I don’t want or need MORE cheese. I do, however, want and need more meat. Because cheese is not something any of us need more of, I can almost guarantee that. But, also, because cheese ruins a lot of food for me.. The texture of it, the way it sometimes tastes to me and the way it can wreck my stomach. (Some of these are less common issues for most but this is applicable if you have texture issues like I do.) Almost forgetting to mention that this cheese most likely costs them less than the meat does the redacted sleeve saves them more money… Yet they’re being sold at the same price. These hot pockets are now basically just a soggy and stale bread that’s filled with way too much cheese and has like only 10 tiny pieces of ham through the entire thing that you can hardly even find or taste and are then disappointed in when you do taste them. Maybe your opinion will be different but, unless they revert the recipe and maybe (probably have to) include the sleeve again, I’m done with hot pockets for good. 🤢
