NETGEAR A6200 - Network adapter - USB 2.0 - Wi-Fi 5

I have three of these installed on desktop computers at the far end of the house, about 30' to 40' from the router. They connect at between 200 and 400Mbps at that distance, which is more than enough to max. out the internet download speed at 50+Mbps so everyone is happy now. I tried several N adapters before deciding to try the A6200 and couldn't get more than about 30Mbps. I am using a Netgear R6250 router, which also works well. I experimented with one of the adapters connected to my laptop at about 15' from the router and it connected at the max 867Mbps, so distance does effect the speed, but it has much better range than wireless N. This adapter will also work for wireless N, B or G but you must have a wireless AC router to get the AC speed and range. In addition to the three A6200's I also bought a smaller A6100 adapter for my laptop and it works great too.
