Sturdy, well made hummingbird feeder.

I've been wanting to get a new feeder for a few years to replace a broken plastic one I had. I came across this as part of the spark reviewer program and was delighted when I received it. What an upgrade! Unpacking it, I noticed the weight of this, it's made of a nice heavy glass compared to the thin plastic that I had before. This will be great for windy days so the feeder doesn't sway hardly at all. It comes with s bendable wire so you can make a hook for it in any size you need. It was easy to take apart, clean and put back together. I use concentrated nectar so after mixing it, the top fill with the wide opening made it very easy to fill. I also love the little perches beneath each flower so the hummingbird can take a little rest while it's having a snack. There is an area on the top that they call " an ant moat" ithat you can place water in to keep the ants out. No more ants in my feeder! There is also a bee guard. The flowers themselves are soft and pliable unlike the hard ones on my previous feeder. I love the fact that this is glass and not plastic. The base screws in tightly and has a gasket to keep it from leaking. I would definitely recommend this product and will get one for my granddaughter.

No need to flip the feeder

The Perky Pet Top Fill Pinch Waist Glass Hummingbird Feeder is a favorite of birders and Hummingbirds as well. It's the classic pinch waist design you know and love, now with top fill technology. The wide mouth top ensures that filling is easy and mess free. Simply remove the lid and fill the feeder with 12oz of nectar and it's ready to go. No need to flip the feeder. The Perky Pet Pinch waist feeder is very easy to clean, as it can be completely disassembled. The flowers are long stem to act as a bee guard. The petals are soft and life like. There are six feeding ports with removable perches, so the hummingbirds can rest while feeding. Last but not least there is an ant moat designed cap and a gasket at the base to prevent leaking. This feeder really is easy to use, mess free and easy to clean. The hummingbirds really do like it. I just put mine up late yesterday and this morning there was a hummingbird having breakfast at 6:45am. He was to shy for photos as we had just met. I am glad to see that my homemade nectar is still making hummingbirds happy.

I really like this hummingbird feeder!

This feeder is glass and plastic. As you can see in the image I provided, the flowers come off easily for easy cleaning and the feeder can be used with or without the perches under each flower. It comes completely apart for easy cleaning and you can take the top off for easy, non-spill filling.
