Disappointingly short life span on this microwave.
For the price we paid, I expected this microwave to last longer than 3 years. The control panel has died and only two buttons work. It is very discouraging to pay top dollar for a built in with a trim kit and have it die so soon. Looks like we should go with another brand for the replacement. I hope the oven and cooktop don't die soon....

Died in less than 3 years!
We got this microwave 3 years back. After 2 years, most of the controls on the panel stopped working except 2-3 buttons (cancel, +30sec and 1 min). Then the display stopped working and not showing the time correctly. Around the 3 year mark, the turntable started rotating whenever we open the door but it was still heating until 2 weeks back. Now it turns on (i can hear the fan) but the turntable doesn''t rotate and it doesn't heat at all. For the amount of money we paid, we thought it would last long. It's probably not worth looking into getting it repaired and I will probably buy a new one (not GE!). Please save your money and look for a different company.

Not working again after fixing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this microwave fixed by bodewell back this 2025 June and again it stopped working..i believe the same microchip failure.. something is fundamentally wrong with this product.. please help
