It's practical, convenient, time saving, easy cleanup, and reusable. I cook a large amount of food at one time and then separate it into the compartments, seal it with the lid, and freeze it. When I am ready to eat, I take one meal out of the freezer, remove the lid, and nuke it WITHOUT THE LID for so many minutes. I don't have to spend everyday cooking and cleaning. Also, this way allows better portion control.
