Tripp Lite's SMART5000TEL3U intelligent, line interactive UPS protects server, networking and telecommunications equipment from blackouts, voltage fluctuations and surges in a compact rackmount housing. Completely self-contained UPS system occupies only 3 rack spaces (3U) in a standard 19 inch rack, making this model one of the smallest 5kVA UPS systems available. Included accessories support mounting 4 post rack enclosures. Large capacity 5000 VA/3750 watt UPS system accepts raw AC input, adjusting output to regulated 208V levels. One pair of 120V outlets support up to 600VA monitors and other low voltage accessories. Includes slot for internal Network Management Card option. Includes USB and 2 DB9 monitoring ports for unattended shutdown, remote control and monitoring of UPS system and power data. Five outlets (two L6-20R, one L6-30R and two 5-15R) allow the connection of high current 20 and 30 amp 208V connectors and up to two 120V devices (max 600VA at 120V).

Works flawlessly and easy to setup
We're using this UPS to ensure automated manufacturing equipment stays up and running. We are manufacturing high reliability spacecraft systems that have to be done right the first time with no errrors and no downtime. This equipment is essential to our manufacturing process. Worst UPS ever!
Read the specs carefully!! This has 2 110 outlets but for some crazy reason they put the two of them on a 5amp breaker! 3 words, What were they thinking? Were they?

We're sorry you ordered the wrong model. Tripp Lite SMART5000TEL3U is designed as a 208V input and output UPS with two 120V convenience outlets to power up to 450 watts of 120V equipment. The idea is that in a 208V equipment rack, there are often one or two 120V, low-power devices that a user might like to run without buying a more robust UPS with full output capacity available at 120V. In practice, it's usually a wall-wart style transformer plug or two that wind up being connected to these low-voltage sockets. Our specification and product description pages do show in multiple locations that SMART5000TEL3U has max output of 600VA / 5A / 450 watts for the 120V NEMA 5-15R outlets. If you're looking for a similar UPS that can support the full output at 120V, consider SMART5000XFMRXL. This model supports 3750W total. 3750W max at 208V. 3750W max at 120V.
