Stinks bad

The blinds came unpackaged. Installed fine, look great, right size, but they stink really bad! They are in my babies room and days later they still stink horribly. Her whole room has stunk like them ever since I installed them. Thought they would air out but now days later and they still stink just as bad. I don't know what to do. It's really gross and they were kind of expensive!
