When I bought them, they were on sale so the value, I thought, was great, so I bought a few pair with different prints to wear around the house for this comming winter. I checked the current price and leave the value part, with the current price up to you. The material feels light, but strong for around the house. The waistband seems taught and they are loose fitting around the hips and legs, but you may have to take out your sewing machine or cloth tack because they seem long for anyone under 6' 2". I would rather have them long and hem up, than be short. You can always hem them up, but it's harder to shorten a small cuff.
