Small, cute, but no access to battery compartment

My son has autism, so when he has a hyperfocus item we will exhaust many options to try to find it. I ordered this as a Christmas gift, luckily allowing some extra room in my delivery time because it does come from the UK. There is no opening for the battery compartment like many other talking plush items have. I'm not sure what will happen when the battery goes dead.
