CeraVe Itch Relief Moisturizing Cream Steroid-Free Treatment for Dry & Itchy Skin, 16 oz

Does everything it says it will, BUT......Long term use of this(which it it does say see a doc if whatever you have persists 7-10 days or some other generic disclaimer)will clog pores and cause tiny white itchy bumps which LOOK AWFUL and are itchy. I used it about 3-4 weeks on isolated itchy areas of my face, and at age 60, my face looked like a teenager with all of these little zit like clogged pores AND one under my eye that looks stye-ish, with NONE of the advantages. It took me several weeks to clear that mess up on my face and they are still on my arms. It LOOKS unsightly and ironically, it causes a NEW itch. So, great for a few days, but not much beyond without awful side effects,

This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I have eczema on my hands that flairs during allergy season and winter months. This cream provides quick itch relief when I need it the most. While it doesn't replace the steroid cream, it does a great job in-between those applications. The cream is thick but soaks in quickly. I typically find itch relief with minutes. Give this cream a try if you are suffering from similar symptoms.
