I've been using CeraVe Healing Ointment on both my face and body, and it's become a staple in my skincare routine — especially in the colder months. This ointment does exactly what it promises: it **protects and soothes dry, cracked, and chafed skin** without irritating sensitive areas.

Fantastic cream!!! I works to get rid of dry patches very quickly. the dry patch on my arm was gone within 24 hours. The elbows took 3 days. But it worked I don't know if that is a permanent effect or temporary. Usually you have to repeat the application daily. As of yet I only used it for three days, and all seems fine in those areas I used it for a week, but I have patches that travel. My elbows are a constant though. But before the odd patches of skin that i had would take weeks to heal. These are diabetic dry skin patches and any thing that gets rid of them in such a short time I am willing to pay a bit more for. I also used it to seal rather than using my usual cream and it seems to have held longer than the other one. Going from the morning applied into the next day regardless of water rinses on a regular basis.
