Bite Free Stable Fly Trap - Insecticide-Free Livestock Protection

I actually bought this because I am a fisherman my ankles get eaten to pieces at this time of year at my favorite fishing spots. I put one of these next to me while I was fishing, and although I still got bitten a couple of times, I must have caught about 200 stable flies in the hour and a half I was there. Other people who were spending their time stomping and swatting saw what I was using and they want to get some too! So although not used in a stable, it is indeed a great product that will go with me to keep my hobby enjoyable.

I buy these every year to help keep the biting stable flies off my horses. You have to put them low and where the light hits it just right. I have found two spots around my barn that after putting two out, the next day they are covered with flies. This is the only trap that works on the biting stable flies. I also use other traps for filth flies and use fly predators around my pasture. Believe me those little stable flies hurt!. One trap came damaged last year and Smartpak immediately sent a replacement. Also I have put these out with no fly activity on the trap so I find a spot where they will be attached to the traps
