Elastic is nice and strong and wide enough to hang on to base or box spring. Nice material but very wrinkly when out of package . It does straitened itself out a bit ..sort of that shabby chic look. It makes a nice added layer to the bed and a cozy room feel. Excellent price for functional yet pretty addition. Comfortable not applicable really. I would buy again.
