To use: 1. Remove one Glade wax melt from packaging and place in center of a clean and empty warmer bowl. Do not use more than one melt at a time. 2. Read and follow instructions provided with warmer. Warmer will melt wax, releasing fragrance into air. 3. When melt no longer releases fragrance, stop use of melt and warmer. To remove wax: 1. Allow wax to cool completely and harden. 2. Pop wax out of warmer dish. If needed, use blunt wood or rubber tool to push wax out of warmer dish. 3. Dispose of wax in trash, do not place wax down drain.

USE ONLY GLADE® WAX MELTS WITH GLADE® WAX MELT WARMERS. WARNING: When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed including the following:. CAUTION:. To reduce risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when a product is used near children. Do not put fingers or hands into product. For safe use, plug only into properly functioning 120-volt wall outlets. This appliances has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not change the plug in any way. Dispose of unit if cord or ceramic is damaged. Do not use in small, confined areas without adequate ventilation. This appliance is for warming scented wax only. Do not use for food, dining service or other unintended uses. Do not use outdoors. This appliance is for household use only. Do not immerse in water. Warmer will become hot during use. Do not touch or place near flammable or delicate items. A short power cord is provided to reduce entanglement or tripping. If an extension cord is used the following care is needed: The marked rating of the extension cord shall be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The extension cord should not be draped over a counter-top or table-top where it is able to be tripped over, snagged or pulled on, especially by children.

It's a pretty piece!
The unit has a heating coil, not a light bulb. That's the main reason I wanted the Glade brand. I love the neutral color. It's a foggy blue with hints of brown and sage. This is the best price I found for it. The grocery store had them for 13.00, and I looked at some other on-line outlets too. This was the best deal if you get the free shipping by spending 50.00, which I did because I needed some other things so it worked out. I also ordered the Clean Linen melts to go with it, but I plan on making my own melts with soy wax and essential oils soon.
