Works just as advertised. Note, you do do need the lightening cable to regular audio AV cable adapter if your car has the auxiliary cable (found in most cars). I found that this adapter, while a bit more expensive than the one I had before, a lot sturdier. The first one I had was great and did not need the lightening to audio AV adapter, but it gave out after about ~2 months of use. :( Better to just buy this one first! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
