Heat for 16-18 minutes. Cook to a light golden color.4. Season to taste.Full bag instructions:Serves about 10.1. Preheat oven to 425F.2. Arrange frozen crispy crowns in a single layer on an 11" x 17" baking sheet.3. Heat for 23 - 25 minutes. Cook to a light golden color.4. Season to taste.Deep Fry:Caution: Ice crystals on frozen foods can cause spattering when added to hot oil. Add product carefully.Tips for frying with oil: Always preheat oil uncovered. If oil spatters, cover immediately and reduce heat. Wheat spattering stops, remove cover and return to cooking temperature. Be careful not to spatter or spill oil onto hot buner of range.1. Preheat cooking oil in electric deep fryer to 375F. Fill deep fryer not more than half full of oil.2. Fill fryer basket not more than half full of frozen crispy crowns. Great tasting side dish or snack
Ore-Ida potato crowns are great. Very crispy and easy to prepare if you use an air-fryer (which I highly recommend for the best results). Nice change of pace from fries. I've never been a big fan of tater tots (hate the texture of the middles); the best part is the end bit. And these "crowns" are all end bit! So, perfect for me. They remind me of the hash rounds you could get at Hardee's (haven't been to a fast food place in over a decade, so I don't know if they still sell them). Great side dish or as a snack by themselves.

To me, these are "Tater Tots", but smaller. I never cared much for "Tater Tots", but I really like these. I guess the difference is ~ I like the smaller size and I can really create a lot of crunch (per square inch? LOL!) in the Air Fryer. You can't go too wrong with Ore-Ida!

I make these crowns in my air fryer. They turn out crunchy on the outside and taste great with a breakfast or dinner meal. I have never made them in the oven or microwave so I can not attest to how they turn out cooked in those ways but I would assume they would taste just as great in the oven. I cook mine to the maximum as I like them to be crunchier than most people would probably prefer. Great when only cooking for one or 2 people.
