I received this doll a few days ago and my daughter absolutely loves it. The vibrant pink hair and the many accessories that come with it. These Club dolls are an adorable alternative to many of the other dolls on the market right now. Their bright 80's hair and colorful outfits, each doll has their own story and own personalty. I love how these dolls are marketed for ACTUAL play! the videos show them having fun in dirt, in water, outside! These are not meant for sitting on a shelf to collect dust - this is a PLAY line. The dolls themselves are built well- sturdy joints and so they can stand on their own without stands. Their costumes are simple, and the accessories designed to expand playability. There are combs and add on hair-extentions to encorage hair play- and it seems almost all of the figures have some sort of hair to brush or style- including the pets! Yes, I am a doll colector- and the likeness to certain cartoon figures i grew up with is what drew me to these to start with, but I believe these are well made, well thought out dolls for play. I may be buying them for myself at the moment- but I can see how my younger niece would surely enjoy them.
