Caterpillar Cat® DG274 18V Brushless 21" Cordless Self-Propelled Lawn Mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this lawnmower from Influenster and could not believe how awesome it is!!!! I ditched my old lawn more as soon as we used this one. It is easy to use and helped get our lawn to look amazing !!!! I highly recommend for those who have big yards. I also thought that the settings definitely helped keep our yard looking great ! I'm excited to keep using it and seeing how our yard will look. I showed pictures to family and already had some relatives order one for themselves. I had a lawn company owner stop by and ask where it was purchased and saying he was going to order one for his crew to use. I thought that was super cool!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing I noticed when unboxing this lawnmower was the ease of assembly. Though it was a large/heavy box (poor delivery guy), it allowed for very few steps to put together. After assembling, I put the batteries on the charger to bring them to full capacity which brings me to the one downfall of this lawnmower, the batteries do not charge quickly so some planning will be required. I would suggest even purchasing another set of batteries. The mowing experience was great. The ease of setting deck height and self propel speed is a real nice touch. There is obviously current sensing as the mower would increase power as I got to thicker parts of my lawn, which helps save battery life. If I work quickly enough, I can finish the entire lawn in one charge, though I have had to stop and recharge in a couple occasions, which is a real downfall, though easily fixed with another set of batteries. The only other thing noted that was a bit of a pain was the self propel clutch often took a moment to disengage when I would try to back up so the mower would almost fight me while going backwards. Otherwise it cut the grass very nicely and got almost all clippings in the bag and my lawn looks fantastic! Overall I really do like this mower and give it 5 stars despite the battery life and charging issues.
