One of the few litters (scented or unscented) that does not have that "chemical" smell that can harm cats. It is unscented and is the consistency of white sand at a beautiful beach. Not dust free (none of them are)..but if you pour it very close to the pan %26 put a cover or piece of cardboard on top of it, the minimal dust will settle into the pan (instead of your lungs). Heathy hint: Always choose unscented, because the "parfumes or scents" used in cat products are thyroid disruptors %26 cause all kind of health problems (as with people). Also, use this for adult cats %26 older kittens only. smaller kittens need unscented clay granules (to prevent ingesting). This is one of the best litters!
