I wasn't sure about this when I bought it, but I knew I could return it if it didn't work out for my cats. My older cat who is very food motivated will only play with it if there's food inside of it. My younger cat thinks it's a great play toy %26 will play with it anytime. Usually if it has food in it his brother will take it from him %26 bat it around, but the younger cat has learned to watch for dropping food %26 often snags it from his brother. This was definitely worth the price %26 I'm thinking about ordering again.

Durable and Very Dog/Cat Stimulating

This toy is mostly as described. My little yorkie goes crazy over it, both with the roller ball in the pouch and out. My 3 month old kitten is still wary of it, but I expect it will be a favorite toy as she gets braver. The pouch is of simple design and I was surprised how well it works. It is durable and withstands frequent pouncing and scratching by my dog. The roller ball is wild, and will adjust to whatever it bonks into and keeps moving over all surfaces, both flat and carpet. It is rechargeable but only lasts about 20 minutes. It turns itself off after 10 minutes, so it lasts about 2 cycles. It recharges quickly. There are no instructions but pretty simple to figure out. It flashes red when it is charging, and solid red when it is done. It flashes red when turned on (hold for a few seconds to turn on). Press once to turn off. Mine is not activated by touch once it goes to sleep, and does not restart on its own. The only other color I have seen is blue. The lights flash all the while it is active. The description talks about different modes and different colors, but I have only figured out how to find 2, red and blue. It also talks about bird chirping sounds, but I have not heard them. It could be that they are saying the motor of the roller ball sounds like birds. Despite it not adhering to all that is advertised, I still think it is a great toy and am going to buy another as a backup.

My cat loves this thing. I take the ball out and let it go everywhere and he goes crazy over it. The battery charge doesn't last long and you have to keep turning it on because it has an auto shut off. If I don't watch it it will roll off and die somewhere I can't find it. But i still think it's worth it.
