Mobil 1 Extended Performance M1-108A Oil Filter

This is my second go around with this filter. My original purchase was in Nov. 2024, over a year ago on the west coast. And the amazing part? I changed it , not because the maintenance laser, deemed my oil opaque, tripping my dash light, because it never did. Besides this is something a sane and/or rational person would do. No! I, changed the oil and filter purely out of unflappable and growing neurosis caused by, “3 months or 3k miles”, formula etched forever in my psyche! After 16k miles and 12 months of continuous use (and a growing respect for synthetics), my thoughts of wear and tear were consuming enough, I couldn't take it any longer. The cognitive dissonance was too much to bare. I went against logic and caved, replacing the new fangled lifeblood and filtering system. Maybe this time I'll be brave and go 16 months or crazier yet, let the car tell me when it's time. So weather you're bout it bout it, or still stuck in 80s car tech like I was, I can't recommend this filter enough. Great product!

No switching, no experimenting, no drama. That tells me everything I need to know. He swears by it; the car runs smoothly, and there has never been an issue. It's dependable, does its job, and clearly holds up over time. When someone sticks with the same brand over and over, that's not luck, that's trust. Old reliable. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and this one clearly isn't.
