Johnson's Baby Moisturizing Baby Lotion, Coconut Oil & Aloe, 1.7 fl. oz

A baby really isn't a baby unless they smell like the original pink Johnson and Johnsons baby lotion! It is my absolute favorite smell on a baby! I used it faithfully on my children 25 years ago and now use it on my grandchildren. This lotion is not harsh on baby skin, it's not watery nor too thick; its a perfect texture. It is gentle enough to use on all parts of babies, including head and downward parts. I thought, oh coconut oil, might change the smell but luckily it did not. The lotion keeps the baby's skin soft and when snuggling, the smell is hard to resist to burry your head into baby and covering with kisses. If it only worked this way when is single women wear it around men! Haha. I would never use any other lotion on babies, even give it as baby shower gifts countless times over the years. Highly recommended for any baby.

When the box arrived in the mail, I could smell the fragrance from the lotion outside of the box. I loved the way it smelled. It has a very clean, gentle, fresh scent that was not overpowering. The new labels on the bottle are a softer look, a sweeter baby style I think.I like the new dispensing pump, it just twists to open, and to the right to close. The pump works well, dispensing a fair amount of lotion. The lotion itself seems to be a bit thinner than the original baby lotion, which I think was too creamy. The new brand of lotion is more absorbent, and doesn't just sit on the skin. We had actually stopped using Johnson's baby lotion a few years ago, and opted to use a competitor's brand for a few reasons. One of the main reasons is because it was not moisturizing. It smelled good, and felt good with a creamy texture, but it did not absorb, and moisturize adequately. In fact it seemed a little harsh on our grand baby's skin. I also did not like the fact that we were unable to find the exact ingredients for the fragrance with the old brand. We are a family with huge allergies, and need to know what we consume, and use in our daily lives. I went on line and checked to see if the fragrance ingredients were available with the new brand, and they were. I appreciate that, it's hard to make a conscience decision to use, when you don't know what the ingredients are. I also appreciate that coconut oil is a main ingredient. Coconut oil is very moisturizing, and does not leave a film like other types of oils do. I highly recommend this new and very improved baby lotion, especially if you had given up on the old brand. I have been using it for a few days now as my daily moisturizer, and it has been a good 24 hour moisturizer, and I love the lighter scent.
