Awesome USB/Serial Adapter!
I've tried MANY usb to serial adapters that don't work with Vista Premium *64bit* OS. This model from SIIG works flawlessly. Even though the packaging doesn't indicate it works w/ the 64Bit ver of Vista, their web site days it does--and it's true. I highly recommend this for 64bit Vista users!

Just works great!
I wanted to be able to use older serial devices with my "Windows 7" machine. The new computer did not come equipped with a legacy serial port, and I hoped that this would be a solution. The long and short of it is, that this is a nearly ideal solution. It worked the first time, right out of the box, and would connect with anything that I had wanted to use, that required this interface. It would have been nice to have included a selectable "X" gender device that would lock, without an additional jumper cable.
