This does a really fast charge. Within 15 minutes it was good to go. I like the fact that the battery is interchangeable with other Hart tools. The battery is a lithium-ion battery and is fade free meaning it stays strong and then quits. That means the power on this blower stays the same until the charge is gone. This is perfect for leaf blowing. It blows air at 90 miles per hour so it really takes care of the leaves. It works best on hard surfaces instead of dirt. My husband removed the leaves on our back porch in just a matter of minutes. We also have a gas blower which is heavy to hold and use. This is lightweight and comfortable to use and is suitable for use by a man or a woman. This will do a quick thorough job of removing leaves from your porch or driveway. Both the blower and the battery are coved by a generous three year limited warranty. When you are all done taking care of the leaves it even has a key hole for hanging. They really thought of everything. Very happy with this leaf blower.
