Just what I wanted

I should note that the unit I received does not look like the picture but is labled as the Startech.com 4 port USB2 hub. I use this unit to replaced my front USB ports on my computer which failed and it has worked perfectly. This unit can be powered from the enclosed power supply or from the USB power source in the computer. The Hub will auto switch to the enclosed power source and will switch to the USB source if the attached source is removed. I found the unit very useful and would recommend it to anyone.

Not for Mac 10.7.5!!!!

Worked great at 1st.... then for no reason my mac did not connect it. Works fine on another computer and the USB port on the Mac is working. Seems a common problem with Mac and another brand of USB hub. Not a StarTech issue.
