Pioneer SDA-BS100 Blind Spot Detection License Plate Bar Microwave Radar

The Pioneer Blind Spot Detection System (BSD) is designed to assist in detecting vehicles entering your vehicle’s blind spot zone. While driving, the system detects objects entering your blind spot zone around the rear of your vehicle and in the lanes on the left and right of the vehicle with an approximate detection range of up to 50 feet. When you’re slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway, cross traffic approaching from your left or right entering your blind spot zone will activate the buzzer and the LED indicator(s) to signal the direction of approaching vehicles and warn the driver. In short, this is a license plate bar system that works with both metal and non-metal bumpers without cutting or drilling required. It can be installed either at the top or the bottom of the license plate frame. It is based on microwave radar technology for extended distance and sensitivity. Our system uses GPS to initiate operation above 20 MPH eliminating potential fault alerts. Unlike other systems, it requires no drilling or removal of vehicles bumpers. Kit includes Reverse Cross Traffic Alerts for backing/reversing out of a tight space when visibility is limited while vehicles are approaching from left or right side.
